Clean-label roasted makhana
MiamiNuts makes clean-label roasted makhana: whole fox nuts, roasted in small batches in cold-pressed groundnut oil, seasoned simply and packed in a box with a sealed inner pouch.
We started with a simple frustration. Clean-label snacks were hard to find: the snack aisle kept adding palm oil, sugar syrups and long lists of flavourings to foods that did not need them. Makhana, the seed of a water lily also known as fox nut, is a good example. On its own it is a light, crisp seed with a mild, toasty taste. We choose large pops because they roast evenly and stay crisp. Our approach is subtraction: keep the seed, roast it carefully, season it simply, and leave the rest out.
We do not print claims we cannot show. Today we deliver across India. New flavours and gift boxes are on the way, and we are working towards shipping abroad.
